I extend a warm welcome to each one who wishes to be a part of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar family. With rich history of dedication in the pursuit of excellence, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar fosters a culture of love and compassion that embraces those who study, teach and work here. Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar envisages a home away from home with caring faculty and a staff which brings to the children, values relevant to real life situations. It is only with Baba’s blessings that the chosen few shared the love and the positive energy of the school. Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar is a miniature world where we respect and nurture every child’s individuality and prepare them for a multifarious role in society. Swami has bestowed on us the responsibility of sending out ‘individuals of substance’ to the society. Our strong belief is that education need not be grind, focused on rote learning; rather it should be oriented towards developing a wholesome personality. Thus, a person imbibed with a sense of independence, commitment and compassion, is capable of providing leadership that our society needs.

We at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar believe in the philosophy of Educare, which means that the 5 eternal human values of Sathya, Dharma, Shanthi, Prema and Ahimsa are inherent in every human being. The school has been consistently providing a conducive atmosphere to the students so that these latent qualities are brought out in a students’ everyday behaviour and activities.
Baba has often said in his discourses that teachers are reservoirs from which, through the process of education, students draw the water of life. The teachers here strive to preach and bring out these latent characteristics of students so that they become good human beings before anything else and responsible citizens of the country.
The code of conduct exemplified for the students helps them develop qualities that will stand them in good stead in the later stages of their lives.

The committed team of Sathya Sai, nurture our dear children with disciplined love, tapping their talents, encouraging them to pursue their passions boldly, carving a niche for themselves in this dynamic, demanding and competitive world.

I feel privileged to belong to an institution in which the pursuit of education is not limited to the confines of a classroom alone, but is extended to the playing-fields and our natural environs.
