The medium of instruction at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore is bilingual as per NEP 2020 i.e., up to class V students will be taught in both Hindi & English. The medium of instruction from classes VI to XII will continue to be English. The Pre-Primary section follows the Early Childhood Education system which is a corollary of both Montessori and the Kindergarten methods of teaching. The academic programme defines exposure and experiential learning, ingrained in the prescribed course material.
The school believes in smart classes and therefore, "TATA Interactive SMART Classes” are provided in Bal Mandir to enhance a vivid-learning environment. The school enables a wide exposure with hands-on projects, sports, cultural activities, literary activities, excursions, computers and community service aiming towards holistic development. The school provides opportunities to students to excel through External Competitive Examinations keeping them abreast with State, National and International level exams.
Choice of Subjects:
- Sanskrit is a compulsory subject from class VI to VIII. Student can choose between Hindi / Sanskrit in class IX.
- Artificial Intelligence is introduced from class IX.
- Students of class IX can also choose between Standard / Basic Mathematics as prescribed by CBSE which defines different difficulty levels.
